We conduct an in-depth interview with the hiring official
to understand their needs and requirements. This allows us to gather company
information and better understand their organizational structure and internal
hiring process. In addition, we discuss current market conditions and trends
with clients to establish realistic expectations and timelines.
STEP 2: IMPLEMENTING THE SEARCH
Each member of our team is thoroughly
oriented to the search project, goals, and objectives set forth by the company’s
hiring officials. A broad search then begins with an immediate review of our
existing database. We identify those individuals who might eventually be
candidates or someone currently in a similar position who could refer us to a
potential candidate. Our network of experts in the agriculture industry extends
nation wide. One referral leads to another, to another, and to another, etc.
Hundreds of telephone calls are often required to identify a single qualified
and interested candidate!
STEP 3: IN-DEPTH INTERVIEWING
Our staff interviews each potential candidate several times
to insure the required knowledge, skills, experience and traits match the
client’s stated profile.
STEP 4: PRESENTATION OF ALL QUALIFIED
CANDIDATES
All qualified candidates are presented to the client’s
hiring official along with all support documents. A post-submittal debrief with
the hiring official may be conducted to assess and prioritize the candidates in
the order of the company’s interest and re-affirm the client’s needs.
STEP 5: TELEPHONE AND ON-SITE
INTERVIEWS
Our team assists in the
coordination of the scheduling for telephone and on-site interviews. Also, we
conduct pre-and post-interview briefings with candidates and hiring officials
and provide feedback to all parties following each interview.
STEP 6: REFERENCE INVESTIGATION, OFFER
PRESENTATION, NEGOTIATION, ACCEPTANCE AND FOLLOW-UP
References, job history and educational credentials are
thoroughly checked. Landis AG Placement & Consulting, Inc. is
proud of its skills in presenting offers, negotiating acceptance, and offering
follow-up support to the candidate during the stressful period of resignation,
relocation, and orientation to a new position, company, and community. We feel
this part of our service is not only key to our high success ratios, but also to
the development of a long-lasting working relationship.
